“Breaking Free” is designed to provide support, understanding, and healing for individuals who have experienced emotional, psychological, and/or physical abuse from a narcissistic partner or family member. This group offers a trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and confidential environment where members can share their experiences, learn healthy coping strategies, and regain their sense of identity and self-worth.
What you can expect
A Supportive Environment: The group is facilitated by experienced therapists who specialize in narcissistic abuse recovery. They create a welcoming and empathetic atmosphere where members feel comfortable discussing their experiences and challenges without fear of judgment or criticism.
Education on Narcissistic Abuse: You will gain a deeper understanding of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) and how it manifests in relationships. This knowledge will help you recognize patterns of abuse, identify manipulative tactics used by narcissists, and better understand the impact of abuse on their emotional and mental well-being.
Coping Strategies and Tools: The group will explore various strategies and skills to help clients manage the effects of narcissistic abuse, such as setting boundaries, practicing self-compassion, and developing assertiveness. You will learn how to better protect yourself from further abuse and to cope with triggers and emotional flashbacks.
