Healing Path Therapy is committed to supporting the education and training of future mental health professionals by offering volunteer practicum placements to qualified postsecondary students. We believe that providing opportunities for students to practice their skills in a supportive learning environment is essential to the development of the next generation of mental health professionals.
Our practicum placements are available to graduate-level students enrolled in a counselling psychology (or similar) program. We offer both administrative practicum placements and clinical practicum placements, which provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing direct counselling services to clients.
As part of our commitment to providing high-quality care, our training counsellors are supervised by our experienced team of psychotherapists and psychologists. This ensures that our clients receive excellent care during the course of counselling.

Successful candidates will ideally have prior experience in providing direct counselling services and will be aligned with our core values. Some experience in relational counselling (e.g., couple or family work) is an asset.
